You'll manage a pipeline of prospective customers from discovery to close, run product demos and presentations for decision makers, navigate multi-stakeholder sales processes (teachers, administrators, procurement), hit or exceed quarterly revenue targets, and hand off closed accounts to Customer Success.
Skills you'll need
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in EdTech or SaaS
- Strong discovery, demo, and closing skills
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Ability to navigate long, complex sales cycles
- Bonus: experience selling into K-12 districts, Higher Ed institutions, or corporate L&D
Salary
Account Executives in EdTech typically earn between $80,000 and $130,000 OTE in the US, with base salaries ranging from $60,000 to $90,000.
