You'll conduct user research with learners, teachers, and administrators, design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, collaborate closely with product managers and engineers, run usability testing and iterate based on findings, and maintain and evolve design systems.
Skills you'll need
- Proficiency in Figma or equivalent design tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX process
- Experience with user research methods
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Bonus: experience designing for education, children, or mobile-first audiences
Salary
UX Designers in EdTech typically earn between $85,000 and $125,000 in the US. Senior and lead designers can earn $140,000+ at larger companies.
